Lot Description

OMEGA - a 9ct gold manual wind gentleman's watch head, the white dial with black Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, plain cushion shaped Dennison case numbered 413404, hallmarked Birmingham 1928, signed fifteen jewel calibre 26.5 SCB movement with sixteen jewels, numbered 6951281. Case width 30mm. A/F.

Omega 9ct gold watch head. The manual winding movement is currently not functioning. The dial has a some fine cracks to it,  these radiate out from the centre to 11 o'clock,  2 o'clock and 6 o'clock which dissects the subsidiary seconds dial. The subsidiary second dial has marks to its centre. The case has some scratches and scuffs as a result of general wear. There is a large dint to the case at 5 o'clock. The crown is missing and back is engraved 'CS, Nov. 18 - 1928'. The watches lugs show signs of wear and are misshapened.
