Lot Description
A pair of late Victorian silver pepper pots, each of inverted baluster form and embossed with a continuous band of flowers and foliage. Hallmarked London 1899. Height measures 2 1/4 inches (6cm), weight 2.28 ozt (70.93 grams).

Condition Report
There are general surface marks and scratches in keeping with the age of the items. There are also some minor dents.
There is some tarnishing and areas of collected polish.
On the top of each pepper pot, the rims have sunken in slightly to the main body - one is worse than the other.
One lid is also slightly taller than the other.
The hallmarks and makers marks are rubbed and quite worn in places but still legible.
