Lot Description

Edwardian silver tea poy of cylindrical form, the body embossed with stylised flowers amongst acanthus leaf scrolls and wide diaper details. Hallmarked Deakin & Francis Ltd Birmingham 1901. Height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm), weight 3.85 ozt (119 grams).

Condition Report

The tea pot does display some noticeable wear and tear, with denting around the body, particularly around the top rim which has left the neck and lid unable to sit straight, along with general scratches, marks and heavy tarnishing. The hallmarks to the underside are rubbed but clearly legible.
