Lot Description
A Continental metal rectangular snuff box, the hinged lid with shaped rim and engraved with foliate scrolls around a vacant cartouche, with further engraving to sides, length measures 3 1/4 inches (8.5cm); together with an Oriental metal oblong shape lidded box with hammered decoration, stamped marks to the underside, maximum length measures 3 3/4 inches (9.5cm). (2).

Condition Report
The snuff box has general surface marks and scratches and general wear around the edges, especially the corners.
There are more visible scratches to the underside.
The engraved decoration is a little rubbed but is still clear and the hinged lid is working well.
There are no makers or other marks.
The Oriental box also has general surface marks and scratches with more visible, deeper scratches to the underside.
There are some little dents to the lid.
