Lot Description

Victorian silver rose bowl, the circular body part fluted with a band of embossed frieze acanthus leaf and raised above a stepped circular base. Hallmarked Birmingham 1899, makers mark indistinct. Diameter measuring 10 inches (25.5 cm), weight 35 ozt (1103 grams).

The rose bowl displays general scratches, marks and tarnishing. Visible remnants of old polish, also some rubbing to the detail from polishing. The hallmarks a little rubbed but clear and legible apart from the makers mark which is indistinct.
