Lot Description

Victorian silver three piece silver tea service, each piece of bellied facetted form engraved with acanthus leafs and scroll surrounds to hanging fruit, each raised above four scroll bracket feet. Hallmarked Sheffield 1880 and the makers mark CB only visible to the teapot. Gross weight 39.5 ozt (1231.5 grams).

The tea service displays wear commensurate with the age and use with general scratches, marks and tarnishing. The hallmarks are clear and legible, the makers mark rubbed,completely rubbed to the sugar and cream.
