Lot Description

Victorian silver presentation goblet of classic form with engraved wrigglework borders, foliate surround cartouche engraved with depictions of vegetables, raised above a beaded stem and a circular flared foot. Hallmarked London 1873, with the makers mark ?M CW. Height measuring 9 1/4 inches (23.5 cm), weight 7.45 ozt (231 grams).

Condition Report

The goblet appears in good condition with wear commensurate with the age and use, displaying scratches, marks and tarnishing. There has been an engraving removed from the fourth cartouche, there are a few minor dints around the body. The hallmarks are clear and legible, makers mark part indistinct.
