Lot Description
An Edwardian silver sugar caster, of baluster form on circular footed base (filled), the lid pierced with star motifs. Hallmarked Birmingham 1909. Approximate height measures 6 1/2 inches (16.5cm).

Condition Report
There are general surface marks and scratches in keeping with the age of the item.
There are also several small dents. Some of these dents are larger and more noticeable, in particular on the detachable lid.
At present the lid has jammed and cannot be removed. There is also still some sugar inside.
The small finial is slightly leaning over to one side.
The hallmark is rubbed but still legible.
The makers mark is rubbed and illegible.
