Lot Description

Victorian silver rose bowl, the circular body with part vertical fluting, reeded rim and raised above a conforming circular foot. Hallmarked Fenton Brothers Ltd Sheffield 1896. Diameter measuring 7 1/2 inches (19 cm), weight 15 ozt (476 grams).

Condition Report

The Rose bowl displays wear commensurate with the age and use, with general scratches and marks, there is heavy tarnishing. Small bumps visible to the base and as a result wobbles slightly. The body of the bowl also sits slightly lopsided. The date letter is a little rubbed but overall the hallmarks are clear and legible.
