Lot Description

A Victorian 15ct gold diamond crescent brooch, circa 1880, with a graduated centre panel of fifteen old European cut diamonds surmounted by openwork scroll detail. Length of brooch 4.3cms. Weight 3.82gms. With fitted box stamped 'Jays 71, 73 & 75 Charlotte St, Fitzroy Sq, London'.

The brooch is in overall fair condition. The pin fitting is metal and has been replaced, there are slight scratches and areas of wear to the brooch in keeping with the age of the piece. The diamonds are faily bright all settings would need to be checked. General wear to the box, scratches to the lid and wear to the inner satin and velvet.
