A 9ct gold oval shell cameo brooch, depicting Aurora Goddess of Dawn accompanied by the Genius of Light. Based on a relief by Bertel Thorvaldsen. Length 5.2cms, width 6.3cms. Weight 20.09gms.

Condition Report
The brooch is in overall good/fair condition. There are slight scratches to the outer border of the cameo. There are some internal hair line fractures running through the shell, however durability is not impaired. Some of the detail to the cameo is quite worn, the noses are flat and the detail is less sharp. The pin and catch is secure.
