ROLEX - a 9ct gold manual wind gentleman's Oyster wrist watch circa 1936, the silvered dial with raised gold tone Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock and a surrounding outer minute track with blue steel hands, cushion shaped case numbered 39609 with wire lugs and Glasgow import hallmark, personal engraving to case back, signed fifteen jewel Super Balance movement, fitted to an associated brown leather crocodile strap with authentic gold plated signed buckle. Case diameter 29mm.

Rolex wrist watch, manual wind, movement is currently functioning, possible refinished dial has some slight marks in various places, hands are tarnished, glass is lightly scratched, bezel is quite heavily scratched particularly to three o'clock, case is scratched and scuffed as a result of general wear with dints in various places, personal engraving to case back, lugs appear to have been soldered to the case, associated strap has had little wear, authentic gold plated pin buckle is scratched and slightly discoloured, winding bridge shows some tarnishing.
