Lot Description

A Victorian 18ct gold key wind open face fob watch, the gilt dial with floral engraving to the centre panel and black Roman numerals, case hallmarked Birmingham circa 1876, decorated with ornate floral and scroll engraving with vacant cartouche to rear, three quarter plate movement signed J.B.G Peters, numbered 261267 with English lever escapement. Case diameter 37.3mm.

18K gold open face pocket watch, key wind and set movement is currently functioning, gilt dial has some small marks and light scratches, hands show signs of tarnishing, glass has a few light marks and scratches, case has scratches and marks from general wear and tear, most noteable on the inner cover, the hinges are in good condition, pendant release is operating and hinges are in good condition, the bow is in good condition.
