Lot Description

An early 20th century gold plated keyless wind open face Waltham pocket watch circa 1906, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, six o'clock subsidiary seconds bordered by a minute track, round engine turned case with foliate and scroll engraving, central vacant cartouche to reverse, signed seventeen jewel movement numbered 15152380, with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 56mm. With  presentation case.

Waltham pocket watch, keyless manual winding movement is currently functioning, dial appears to have a fine crack between the 'VII' and 'VIII' numerals, a crack over the 'XI' numerals and another small crack above the '60' numeral on the subsidiary seconds dial, dial also has some small marks, hands show signs of tarnishing, glass has a small chip to to the edge at 11 o'clock as well as tiny marks trapped under the glass, case has scratches as a result of general use, pendent shows wear to the gold plating.
