Lot Description

A silver plated and glass centrepiece, the reeded and tapering central column leading to a circular shallow dish with beaded borders and supporting a large cut glass bowl, the three scrolling branches with acanthus leaf detail and leading to three smaller dishes with conforming decoration and supporting three smaller cut glass bowls, the whole on three outward splayed feet.  Maximum height including glass bowl 14 1/2 inches (37cm).

The centrepiece displays general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the use.  It is very tarnished and in need of a good polish.  There are also areas of collected polish.  The glass dishes all have general surface marks and scratches.  There are some minor nicks in the glass and minor chips, especially to the serrated edges.
