An early 20th century silver sovereign holder with niello decorated outer case, import mark for Chester 1912.

Condition Report
There is quite a lot of general wear and surface marks and scratches to the sovereign holder. The niello decoration is quite worn and there are also some minor dints to the metal. There are some deeper scratches to the interior and also some tarnishing. The applied silver rim to the interior of the lid has lifted slightly on one side. The hallmarks and part hallmarks are rubbed but still legible. Maker's marks are indistinct.
