The pot displays general wear and surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.  The hinged lid is in good working order.  There is some wear to the embossed decoration, especially to some of the flowers and background.  The seam line is visible and there a couple of pin prick holes in the metal around this area and a couple elsewhere.  There is some tarnishing.  There are some small dints around the base rim.  The hallmarks and makers' marks are rubbed but still legible.  There are also part hallmarks to the inner rim of the lid.
