ASPREY & Co. Ltd - rose quartz parasol handle.

Overall fair to good condition, there is a split to the wood about 3cms long, towards the base, next to the silver gilt fitting. The wood is heavily stained and there are some lighter patches where the stain has worn. There is some tarnishing to the metal tip. The gilt fittings have areas of light wear where silver is starting to show. The lower fitting has two patches of a black substance in between the detail. To the rose quartz there is a hair line crack that terminates with a chip to the base of the handle, there are also some small hair line cracks and nicks to other parts of the rose quartz. The fitted box has areas of wear and small areas of staining to the outside, the clasp doesn't clip closed. To the interior there are some marks where the raised areas of the handle touch the top of the lid, and there is a small area of light pink staining to the join.
