Lot Description
A yellow metal hinged vinaigrette modelled as an envelope with scrolling decoration and inlaid floral enamel detail, the central twist clasp opens to reveal a hinged grill with pierced foliate decoration, with attached flattened belcher link chain and ring termination. Length 3cms. Total weight 14.5gms.

Condition Report
Overall good condition, the enamel decoration is damaged in places. There are minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. The clasp and hinges are in good working order, the two opening panels wobble a little on their hinges. The twist clasp is in good working order. There is green tarnishing to some of the inner edges. The chain and ring are possibly a later addition.
