Lot Description

A garnet and marcasite cluster ring, the central circular cabochon surrounded by a marcasite border. Diameter of garnet 5mm. AF.

Condition Report

The ring is in overall good condition. The ring head is late 19th century and the ring shank has been added at a later date. Two marcasite stones are missing and several are chipped. The garnet has also possibly been added at a later date. Chips, scratches and scuffs can be seen, in keeping with age and general wear. Ring size J 1/2.
