Lot Description

Three Victorian items, to include an oval hinged locket with black enamel detail, the central panel reads 'in memory of' with interior hair panels, a chalcedony set ring with scroll engraved shoulders and an oval locket with a central colourless paste and red paste cross. Some items AF.

The items are in overall fair/poor condition. There is a solder join to the back of the signet ring, areas of black discolouration and dents in places, the plating has quite seriously worn in places. There are some chips to the chalcedony. There are some scratches to the black enamel of the locket and overall scratches to the piece, the locket does not close secure and would need attention, the top jump ring is discoloured. One of the inner hair panels is arranged, the other just placed with in the frame, there is dirt to the inner rim. There are some quite serious scratches to the locket that are easily noticeable, there is slight abrasion to the paste visiblr with 10x magnification. There are again some quite serious scratches to the inside of the locket.
