An early 20th century Staunton chess set and games compendium contained within a fitted oak case. The case with a rectangular hinged cover above a front fitted with hinged doors, the whole opening to reveal a compartmented interior

Has an applied silver monogram to its hinged cover, this monogram has a slight area of damage, the box is in good condition, the contents are in good condition. It has two sets of four lead horses, the one set of horses are possibly re-painted, the other horses have broken legs
