The brooch is in overall fair condition. The silver setting is tarnished black and there is discolouration to the ridged curved backing. The diamonds are fairly bright, there are easily visible inclusions to many noticeable with the unaided eye. The central diamond has a chip, also several of the diamond points are chipped. All settings would need to be checked. The pin and catch is secure, the safety chain attached link appears to have been added and the safety chain appears modern.
