Lot Description

A continental metal key wind open face pocket watch, the silver dial having raised rose gold hue Roman numeral hour markers, outer minute track and gilt decoration, the ornately engraved case, stamped as "FINE SILVER", with foliate design to rear and vacant cartouche, fitted with a frosted gilt Swiss bar movement with cylinder escapement. Case diameter 36mm. With a later silver pin in the form of a bow.

Condition Report

Open faced pocket watch, key winding manual movement is not currently functioning, dial has some marks and fine scratching, hands show marks, glass appears to be in good condition with some tiny marks, case has scratches as a result of general use, hinges show wear to the corners, inner back cover has light but visible scratches.

Silver pin in the form of a bow shows marks and tarnishing.
