Lot Description
Two late 19th/early 20th century brooches to include a bar brooch with a central split pearl within a millegrain setting flanked by old European cut diamonds in closed back settings, and a floral split pearl bar brooch. Stamped 15ct, adapted from a pendant.

Condition Report
Overall fair to good condition, both would benefit from a clean. The diamond and split pearl brooch has a blister to the pearl, both have inclusions and look to have dirt behind them. The floral split pearl brooch is adapted from a pendant at a later date, the floral cluster seems secure but moves on the brooch, there is a split pearl suspension loop to the flower, there are surface scratches to the brooches. Lengths 4.5cms.
