Lot Description

A pair of Bohemian garnet cluster earrings, of circular tiered design the central principal garnet surrounded by two further tiers. Diameter of earrings 1.45cms. Hook earring fittings added at a later date, suspended drops missing.

Condition Report

The earrings are in fair condition. The clusters were not necessarily earrings originally and the back fittings have been added at a later date, there are bottom hoop fittings for further drops that are missing. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the back of the clusters. There is abrasion and chips to some of the garnets.
