Early 20th century plain silver rectangular cigarette case of slightly curved form, hallmarked A & J Zimmerman Ltd., Birmingham 1916, measuring 11.5cm by 8.5cm; together with a smaller rectangular example with engraved monogram to the front, hallmarked D.Bros., Birmingham 1919, measuring 8cm by 5cm, and a later square cigarette case with engine turned decoration, hallmarked Birmingham 1929, measuring 8cm by 8cm. Gross combined weight 329 grams. (3).

Condition Report
The three cigarette cases display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Some shallow dints visible, particularly to the largest example. Gilding to the interiors visible in varying condition, the largest example particularly worn, scratched and discoloured. The hallmarks are clear and legible. The hinges and clasps are all in working order.
