Lot Description

A George IV silver key wind pair case pocket watch by Nicholas of Daventry, the white enamel dial having bold black Roman numeral hour markers, surrounded by an outer minute track, the plain case hallmarked Birmingham 1827, markers mark J.H, fitted with a signed full plate fusee and chain movement with undersprung balance and verge escapement. Case diameter 51mm.

Open face pair case pocket watch, key wind manual movement is not currently functioning, dial shows a noticeable crack and visible marks, minute hand is missing, hour hand shows distortion and marks, glass has marks and scratches, case has marks and scratches as a result of general use, front of the outer case shows a dint at the bottom, outer case is not closing correctly.
