Lot Description

A George III silver key wind part pair case pocket watch by William Ordson of London, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers, surrounded by an outer minute track with Arabic divisions, the case, hallmarked London 1788, fitted with a signed gilt full plate fusee and chain movement, with verge escapement, undersprung balance and pierced balance cock. Case diameter 42mm. Please note the outer case is missing.

Part pair case pocket watch, key wind manual movement is currently functioning, dial shows various noticeable and significant cracks and marks, some of the numerals show fading, hands show tarnishing and marks, glass has some small marks, case shows notice marks, scratches and small dints. case is also tarnished, back of the case has various noticeable dents and dints. pendant and bow show light scratching.
