Lot Description

A George III silver key wind pair case pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, outer minute track, the plain cases hallmarked Birmingham 1815, fitted with a unsigned full plate fusee and chain movement, with verge escapement and diamond end stone. Case diameter 57mm.

George III  silver pocket watch, the key wind movement is currently not functioning  and there appears to be a problem with the balance, fusee chain is intact, glass has chips to the surface, dial is cracked in a multitude of places with the hand appearing to have repair work done and the possibility of one being replaced, case has scratches and dents that are consistent with general wear.
