Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face centre seconds pocket watch with stop function, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track with Arabic divisions, plain case with vacant cartouche, hallmarked Chester 1895, fitted with a three quarter plate movement, signed Tho Russell & Son, numbered 90643, with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 60mm.

Open faced pocket watch, key winding manual movement is not currently functioning, hands show tarnishing, glass has a chip to the edge at 5 o'clock as well as marks and scratches, case has visible scratches and marks as a result of general wear, case also shows tarnishing, front of the case has a noticeable scratch at 4 o'clock,  hinges show wear to the corners.
