Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary recorder dial positioned to six o'clock, engine turned case with vacant cartouche, hallmarked London 1881, with a gilt full plate going barrel movement. Case diameter 51mm.

Open faced pocket watch, key wind manual movement is currently functioning, dial shows a small chip outside the minute track at 5 o'clock and a small crack to the minute track a 6 o'clock, dial also shows some tiny marks, hands show some light marks, glass shows small marks, case has scratches and marks as a result of general use, case also shows tarnishing, case band shows wear, case back also has wear to the engine turned decoration, bow shows wear to the plating.
