Lot Description

An 18k gold Victorian key wind open face pocket watch, the gilt dial with Roman numerals and central floral detail, engine turned case with vacant cartouche, full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement and diamond end stone. Case diameter 50mm. Total weight 94.1gms.

Open faced pocket watch, key wind manual movement is not currently functioning, dial has some marks and light scratching, hands have some tarnishing and marks, glass has some marks and small scratches, case has marks and scratches as a result of general use, front of the case shows wear in places to the milled decoration,  back of the case shows wear to the engine turned decoration and denting, pendant and bow show signs of wear.
