Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers bordered by a minute track, the round case with milled band, engine turned design to the rear with vacant cartouche, hallmarked London 1881, fitted with a full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 42mm. Together with a silver manual wind watch head by Waltham, hallmarked Birmingham 1914, suitable for spares or repair purposes. Case diameter 33mm.

Key wind open face pocket watch, the movement is not currently functioning but the balance appears to be free, dial appears to be in good appearance with some finger prints and debris, hands have some minor scratches, glass is loose with very minor scratch marks, case is tarnished with minor marks due to general wear.
