Lot Description

A turn of the century 18k gold keyless wind open face quarter repeater pocket watch, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, all surrounded by an outer minute track, the hour and minute hands each set with three diamonds, the case, stamped K18, having milled middle, engine turned decoration to rear, fitted with an unsigned  frosted gilt seventeen jewel Swiss bar movement with wolf's tooth form on the winding wheels, club tooth lever escapement, bi-metallic compensation balance, blued overcoil hairspring and fully jewelled quarter repeating complication. Case diameter 51mm. Total weight 99.0gms.

Open faced pocket watch, keyless wind manual movement is currently functioning, dial shows some small dark marks, hands have tiny marks, glass has small marks and scratches, case has scratches and marks as a result of general use, front and middle of the case have small dents to the right hand side, back of the case shows wear to the engine turned decoration to the edges, hinges have wear to the corners.
