Lot Description
Early twentieth century silver mounted cut glass claret jug of pear form, the silver mounts ornately decorated in relief, scrolling leaf capped handle and flat hinged lid. Hallmarked Henry Wilkinson Sheffield 1910. Height measuring 10 1/4 inches (26 cm).

Condition Report
The claret jug displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Both cartouche to the collar look to have had an engraving removed. The glass does display numerous nibbles and minor chips. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
