Lot Description

Early twentieth century silver desk ink stand of rectangular form, dual glass inkwells, sunken pen rest,  raised edge of scroll pierced form and raised above four ball feet. Hallmarked Joseph Rodgers & Sons Sheffield 1910. Length measuring 10 3/4 inches (27.5 cm), width measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm)Gross weighable silver 13.7 ozt (427 grams).

The desk stand appears in good overall condition, there are general scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hallmarks to the main body are lightly rubbed but overall clear and legible. The cartouche is vacant. There is a split to the rim.
