Lot Description

A selection of silver dressing table items to include an early twentieth century embossed brush, a matching mounted comb both hallmarked Samuel M Levi Birmingham 1913, a similar unmarked white metal hand mirror, a modern silver mounted comb and a silver mounted hobnail glass mounted vanity bottle. (5).

All items within the lot display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The hand mirror displays some heavy wear and tear with denting and holes to the high embossing. The brush displays a repair to the handle. The matching comb displays some heavy wear and tear to the silver mount with creases and splits, the pins no longer secure holding the mount in place, two of the tortoise shell prongs to the comb also broken. The second comb  silver mounted plastic comb is hallmarked Birmingham 1986. The silver mount to the glass vanity bottle is heavily damaged, hallmarks illegible, numerous small chips visible to the glass.
