Edwardian silver tobacco measure.

Lot Description
Edwardian silver portable tobacco scoop of cylindrical form with suspension loop and swivel hinged lid opening to reveal a retractable scoop. Hallmarked Levi & Salaman Birmingham 1903. Height measuring 27 mm, weight 9.4 grams.

Condition Report
Item displays general wear, tarnishing and surface marks and scratches. There are a number of small nicks and dints in the metal and the main rim is a little dinted and misshapen. The swivel hinged lid is in good working order. There is a small gauge in the rim of the retractable scoop. Missing interior spring. Hallmarks rubbed but still legible. Also stamped to the lid 'WILCOX'S PATENT'.
