Both card cases display general wear and surface marks and scratches.  The larger example is quite tarnished all over and displays various dints and nicks in the metal.  Decoration appears to be generally okay with a little bit more wear to the edges and corners.  The hinge is in good working order.  Contact marks to the inner flange.  Hallmarks slightly rubbed but still legible.  The bright cut engraving on the smaller case appears to be in generally good condition.  Hinge is in good working order.  Some contact marks and remnants of polish to the inner flange.  Hallmarks clear and legible.
