Two shell cameo brooches of oval outline, the first carved to depict a woman with attendant and putti, the second carved as the Virgin Mary. Length 5.2cms and 5.6cms.

Condition Report
The cameos are in overall fair condition. There is wear to the detail of the puti cameo, where the faces of the figures have worn, there is dirt and discolouration to the detail in places, the outer surround is worn with greening, dents and scratches, the back pin are discoloured. The other cameo has dirt to the detail, the cameo is quite roughly carved, there are some dents and scratches to the outer surround and areas of discolouration.
