A late Victorian carved jet necklace, circa 1870, designed as a graduated series of foliate carved jet beads also six plastic beads to the base metal clasp. Length 37.5cms.

The necklace is in overall good condition. The beads are well carved. Heavy chips and cracks can be seen to some. The plastic beads have been added at a later date. Re-threading is recommended.
