Lot Description

A Victorian 18k gold key wind open face fob watch, the gilt dial with black Roman numerals and foliate detail to centre, the ornately floral engraved case with a vacant cartouche to rear, hallmarked London 1867, unsigned full plate movement with fusee and chain. Case diameter 38mm. Total weight 46gms. Watch A/F.

A Victorian 18k gold fob watch. The key wind movement is currently not functioning and the fusee chain is loose from the barrel. It is also not attached to the case as the hinge pin is missing. Dial is scratched and some of the numerals are partially removed. The centre is marked from being rubbed by the hour hand. The hands are different shades and tarnished with the minute hand additionally being slightly curved. The glass at the time of writing is loose and chipped around the edge. The case is covered with a multitude of scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with age and material. The bow is loose.
