Lot Description

A 20th century 9ct gold keyless wind open faced Masonic pocket watch by Waltham, the white enamelled dial with hourly applied Masonic symbols, subsidiary second dial to six o'clock, outer minute track, the plain round case hallmarked Birmingham 1926, fitted with a signed movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 49mm. Total weight 90gms. With fitted case.

A 9ct gold open face pocket watch, movement is currently functioning although the it is filthy and will require a service. Dial has a hairline crack near its edge between the seven and eight o'clock position. Hands appear be in a generally good condition but the seconds hand is marked and there are signs of tarnishing to the ends. The glass has light surface scratches and marks and there is a smear to the underside from where the minute hand has rubbed against it. Case possesses a variety of scratches, marks and dints from general use. Hinges look to be in good working order. Bow is loose.


Fitted case is worn.
