Lot Description

A 20th century 9ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch, the white dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, round case with decorated monogram engraved to back, dust cover having presentation inscription, hallmarked Birmingham 1918, unsigned fifteen jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 49mm. Total weight 85gms.

Open face pocket watch, keyless manual wind movement is currently functioning, dial has some marks, hands have some tarnishing and the tip of the hour hand is distorted, glass has yellowed and shows scratches, case has scratches and marks as a result of general wear, case front has a dint at 3 o'clock, monogram engraving to the rear, presentation engraving to inner dust cover, button has wear to the gold plating.
