Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the silvered dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, floral decoration to the centre, outer minute track surrounded by gilt decoration, the round decorated case hallmarked Chester 1884, floral decoration and vacant cartouche to the rear, fitted with a Swiss bar movement with cylinder escapement. Case diameter 39mm.

Open faced pocket watch, key wind manual movement is currently functioning, dial shows some marks and scratches, minute hand is missing and the hour hand is distorted, glass has marks and scratches, dial and movement are not fixed to the case and can be removed, case has scratches and marks as a result of general wear, case also shows tarnishing, corners have wear to the corners, bow has marks.
