Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face fob watch, the white enamel dial with hourly applied black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, round case having engraved foliate decorations to the back, hallmarked Chester 1879, fitted with Swiss bar movement with cylinder escapement. Case  diameter 40mm. Together with similar example.

A silver fob watch, the key wind movement is currently functioning, the dial appears to be in a quite good condition, there are only few, tiny marks in various places, noticeable under closer inspection only, glass seems to be in the same state, also with some tiny scuffs noticeable to the centre only, case is slightly darkened to the whole surface it also has some noticeable scratches due to general wear and age of the watch, majority should polish out, movement does not appear to be damaged.
