Lot Description

A George III silver key wind pair case pocket watch, the white enamel dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, outer minute track, the plain case hallmarked London 1803, fitted with a full plate fusee and chain movement signed D.Tegerstrom, London, with a possibly later cylinder escapement, diamond end stone, stop function. Outer case diameter 59mm.

Silver key wind pair case pocket watch, movement is currently not functioning, dial has many light surface scratches, marks and there are some cracks running through the length of the dial, hands are discoloured and show signs of wear with light marks, tip of minute hand has broken off, glass has some surface scratches and marks which are consistent with wear, centre of glass has a hazy appearance, outer case has slight surface scratches and small dents,case has light surface scratches and many dints throughout the back of the inner case, bow looks to be bent out of shape.
