C&A GIULIANO - A diamond, pearl and enamel caduceus brooch.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The mount shows tarnish and general discolouration. The enamel is in good condition, the snakes with green bodies with raised yellow metal detail and red enamel eyes. The pin is slightly bent. The diamonds appear bright and well matched single or rose-cut, estimated total diamond weight 0.08ct, individual diamonds are too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Some of the rose-cut diamonds are chipped. The single-cut diamonds may be replacements. One of the pearls has a deep ring and the other shows minimal wear to the nacre. One of the pearls has been glued back in with a small amount of yellowish glue visible at one end. Unhallmarked. Weight 4gms.
