Lot Description

An early 20th century 18ct gold opal and diamond ring. The oval-opal cabochon and graduated old-cut diamonds to the split shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Stamped 18ct. Weight 3gms.

The ring is in overall good condition. There are slight scratches to the ring in keeping with the age of the piece. The opal has a white body colour and a good play of colour, displaying oranges, greens and blues. The diamonds are bright, one of the claws has broken off and would need attention. Ring size M1/2.
